📜 Game Overview

The Outsider is a real-time, hidden-role deduction game built for Radical TLV’s community of thinkers, creators, and activists. In each round, players assume unique personas inspired by Radical’s vibrant events, while one player—the Outsider—tries to blend in and evade detection.

• Theme: Radical’s world of lectures, debates, and cultural happenings meets a playful “who’s the imposter?” twist.

• Players: 3–6 participants, each connecting via a simple 4-digit room code.

• Roles:

  • Personas: Non-Outsiderplayers receive one of Radical’s “voices” (e.g. “The Podcast Host,” “The Street Photographer,” “The Workshop Facilitator”) along with a current Radical event.

  • The Outsider: A lone outsider with no event context, whose goal is to guess the event without revealing their lack of knowledge.

🕹️ How to Play

1. Create or Join

   • Host generates a room code; friends join instantly with their names.

2. Lobby Phase

   • Chat, banter, and prepare—up to six players can gather before the game begins.

3. Role Briefing

   • Non-Outsiders see their persona and the chosen Radical event.

   • The Outsider sees only the list of player names.

4. Deduction Rounds

   • Players take turns offering clues or posing questions about their persona and event.

   • The Outsider must navigate the discussion, dropping hints without exposing themselves.

5. Voting & Reveal

   • After the timer ends, everyone votes on who they suspect is the Outsider.

   • The Outsiderthen names the event they believe is in play.

   • Points are awarded to those who correctly identify the Outsider—and to the Outsider if they slip away undetected and guess the event.
